**Strategy & Insights **Manager**
**Role purpose**:
A Strategy & Insights Manager drive the definition of the future state of our channels by evaluating HSBC and the market situation, the current trends, other players and industries to generate insightful analyses that will support decision-making and support the senior stakeholders to make decisions.
It will also support on achieving our main KPIs by producing fact-based analyses and recommendations.
Main responsibilities include:
- Define our transactions migration strategy and implementation of improvement actions
- Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management
- Participate in forums, meetings or events to interpret data and support decision making
- Ensure the continuing development analytical capability in order to respond to business requirements

**Principal accontabilities**
- Drive an omni-channel approach to our transactions migration performance
- Propose actions based on thoughtful analyses using different sources of information
- Work with senior leadership to define future strategy of channels.
- Engages with our colleagues and stakeholders (Business Management and Direct Channels) to build a trust-based relationship on a continuing basis
- Identify customer needs and trends, elaborating recommendations on how to capture opportunities
- Review transaction evolution and distribution between channels, understanding drivers behind trends and recommending actions.
- Drive a culture of high performance and empowerment through effective people management activities and drive up employee engagement by taking action against agreed priorities in identified action plan,
- Foster a diverse, inclusive and open environment
- Drive teamwork and collaboration
- Promote innovation mindset and incentivise exchange of best practices.
**The role holder needs to have knowledge and experience in the following areas**:
- Bachelor of Systems, Administration, Finance, Actuary or related
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues.
- Good relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities.
- Fluency English level.
