We use cutting-edge techniques and software to bring industry leading technology and creative solutions to our clients from day one.We are seeking a **Structural Engineer** to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will engage in the designing, developing, and implementing of cutting-edge structural systems for Commercial facilities with a primary emphasis on steel frame structures, reinforced concrete structures, Masonry Structures, and PEMB configurations. As a Structural Engineer at SSOE, you will have a foundation in structural principles, structural analysis & calculations, and a proficiency with **Revit** and **AutoCAD**.**Responsibilities**:The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.- Performs a variety of routine engineering assignments under the direction of a supervisor with increasing responsibility based on performance.- Consults with supervisor to screen assignments for unusual or difficult problems and selects appropriate methods and techniques to apply.- Receives close supervision on new aspects of assignment but has some freedom to exercise judgment in making engineering decisions.- Works under the direction of a supervisor on specific and limited portions of a broader assignment that requires some supervision.- Drafts interpretation of own design into completed working drawings and applies engineering fundamentals to design.- May be assisted by a designer, but usually assumes no responsibility for direction of others.- Performs routine calculations and work on PC system.- Communicates with supervisor concerning progress or problems in an assigned task.- Updates department REVIT standards.- Knowledge of US Codes: ASCE7, IBC, ACI 318, AISC 360- Masonry & Wood experience- Post-tensioned concrete- Seismic Design Category D / High seismic design experience / basics knowledgeQualifications:**What You Will Bring**:- Bachelor Degree in Engineering as Civil Engineer and Master Degree in Structural design or Sciences.
