We use cutting-edge techniques and software to bring industry leading technology and creative solutions to our clients from day one. We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will engage in the designing, developing, and implementing of cutting-edge structural systems for Commercial facilities with a primary emphasis on steel frame structures, reinforced concrete structures, Masonry Structures, and PEMB configurations. As a Structural Engineer at SSOE, you will have a foundation in structural principles, structural analysis & calculations, and a proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD. Responsibilities: The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. Performs a variety of routine engineering assignments under the direction of a supervisor with increasing responsibility based on performance.Consults with supervisor to screen assignments for unusual or difficult problems and selects appropriate methods and techniques to apply.Receives close supervision on new aspects of assignment but has some freedom to exercise judgment in making engineering decisions.Works under the direction of a supervisor on specific and limited portions of a broader assignment that requires some supervision.Drafts interpretation of own design into completed working drawings and applies engineering fundamentals to design.May be assisted by a designer, but usually assumes no responsibility for direction of others.Performs routine calculations and work on PC system.Communicates with supervisor concerning progress or problems in an assigned task.Updates department REVIT standards. Knowledge of US Codes: ASCE7, IBC, ACI 318, AISC 360 Masonry & Wood experience Post-tensioned concrete Seismic Design Category D / High seismic design experience / basics knowledge Qualifications: What You Will Bring:Bachelor Degree in Engineering as Civil Engineer and Master Degree in Structural design or Sciences. (This is not a must, just desirable req.) With three to five (3 - 5) or more years of related practical experience with former employer(s) Advanced english levelExperience with REVIT and Structural Engineering Experience with Commercial projects such as Hospitality, Healthcare Centers, Corporate Buildings, Schools, Mixed use buildings, Airports, Restaurants, Malls, etc. What We Bring:Monthly gross based Salary
