Responsibilities
The Product Owner (PO) at STX Next is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and validating the work generated by a team to ensure flawless implementation of our clients and their users' needs. The PO is the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, balancing business needs with technical feasibility. They are also a part of client journeys into agile excellence.
Requirements
Must have:
Experience in Product Owner role (min. 3 years).
Technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, trade-offs, and new opportunities with technical team members.
Good knowledge of Scrum and other Agile practices (e.g. XP, Dual track), proved by Scrum.org Certifications (e.g. PSM II, PSPO II).
High skills in communication and conflict resolution.
Client-centric and focused on building honest, strong relations with the client.
Business awareness, being able to convince the client of good practices by showing tangible business benefits.
Analytical and observational skills.
Focus on continuous improvement, both on team's and individual level.
Very good command of English (min. C1).
Servant leadership approach.
Experience in creating User Stories (with acceptance criteria and test scenarios, e.g. Gherkin scenarios).
Able to act as a Project Manager / Technical Project Manager if needed.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of project management techniques and frameworks (e.g. PMP, Waterfall).
Experience in Scrum Master role.
Experience in working with Product Designers.
Experience in working with DevOps.
Experience in working within an enterprise environment.
