**Subdirección WPB Governance and Strategy (Mexico role)****Role purpose**Under the guidance of the Geographic COO (Business Management) the role holder will be responsible for the successful implementation of the governance strategy, through a systemic approach that incorporates strategic planning, risk management and performance management. The role holder is responsible for the structure and processes guidelines for decision making, accountability and control at the top WPB MX management.The Subdirección WPB Governance and Strategy will be in close contact with the WPB Mx Exco, HBMX Exco and Planning and Strategy and CFO teams in WPB Americas and Global WPB.The role holder should have a strong track-record in positions that requires the competencies of communication, critical thinking, collaboration, team work, strategic planning and decision making, verbal and writing skills, as well as the desire to constantly build new capabilities and enhance their knowledge. They will need to develop and act upon measurement and employee insight as well as quickly build trusted stakeholder relationships. Background in banking and financial services and work experience in Business Management, CIO, Planning and Strategy are an advantage.**Principal Accountabilities and**- Execute the governance strategy according with the Corporate guidelines. Develop governance strategies and execute governance activities that support WPB Mx priorities in relation to business objectives.- Develop and tailor narratives, messaging and content according to the forums where the Head of WPB MX participates. Lead on the planning and delivery.- Evaluate best practices and the impact of each activity to ensure their value contribution to business results.- Propose and guarantee execution of improvements to the WPB Mx governance.- Propose and monitor execution of WPB Mx business strategy implementation.- Provide WPB Mx ExCo with briefings and materials related to business strategy.**Requirements**:**Functional Knowledge**- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work confidently and effectively with senior executives.- Able to work within a complex environment, prioritize and reconcile competing demands, and swiftly resolve issues.- A proven track record that required the competencies of communication, critical thinking, strategic planning, project management, and decision making- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.- A strong team player who can work collaboratively with peers and encourage / deliver excellent performance from teams and individuals.- Excellent interpersonal skills.- Ability to understand business issues and devise strategic solutions that deliver results.- Ability to work quickly, managing time and multiple priorities effectively.- Strong knowledge of communication trends and best practice.- Broad knowledge of financial services industry.- Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and adapt to country nuances.
