The Value Stream Manager, is responsible for overseeing the assembly and fabrication operations of the Torreon, Coahuila site. This position will work directly with other collateral Value Stream Managers, and reports to Plant Manager to develop and execute assembly and fabrication operational strategy that aligns with the operational business strategy to support and increase factory productivity and goals achievement.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Ensures safety practices and behavior within his / her area of responsibility.
Direct manufacturing processes across the business to meet quality, volume, cost, and delivery goals.
Drive 6S and Lean Manufacturing practices throughout the manufacturing floor
Develop continuous improvement initiatives and drive positive change.
Manages/oversees salaried and hourly personnel.
Provide hands on project management and coordinates multiple projects with the leadership stakeholders.
Creates project plans, timelines, critical paths, and milestones. Perform cost-benefit evaluation for all assigned projects to define potential financial, business, and industry impacts of initiatives.
Advisor to senior leadership on the continuous improvement strategy and transformation to tactically deploy Lean transformation.
**Profile**
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or other related field, with an advanced degree preferred.
Lean and Six Sigma certified is a plus
Successful, 5+ year track record in large, single site industrial manufacturing organizations
Significant experience in operations, manufacturing, & assembly metal-mechanic products through vertically integrated fabrication processes
Strong working knowledge of metal processing machining and head treatment operations, utilizing traditional.
Ability to develop capital project business cases and provide hands-on capital project support
Self-motivated, resourceful, and entrepreneurial, demonstrating willingness for learning and improvement.
Proficient in English both verbal and written.

Successful track record of effectively resolving customer related issues, improving processes, and raising efficiency through lean methodology, including hands on participation in value stream mapping, voice of the customer, kaizen leadership, continuous flow, and 6S
Well-developed quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and critical thinking skills
Strong influencing and communication skills; capable of securing management buy-in, sponsorship and investment through strong articulation of business benefits aligned to broader organizational objectives.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills that result in effective communications.
Able to motivate and lead teams to achieve goals.
Solid analytical and process management skills. Has strong business acumen and able to define and understand the most critical issues.
Microsoft AX experience is a plus.
