**Description**
This position is responsible for planning, execution and coordinate the resources of the Intermodal Terminal (Safety, Staff, Heavy Equipment). Responsible for create a correct activity/plans for unload / load trains according to the goals and containers priorities, additional is on charge of the instructions to share with the team and with the yard crew service that we have in the Terminal of Salinas Victoria. Control the trains that arrive and departure from our facility in coordination with NOC and Transportation team. Identifies possible risk factors in the terminal and all the personel that is inside of the terminal. Uses highly developed specialized skills to complete a wide range of tasks and procedures. Generates innovative solutions to complex processes or problems. Proposes improvements to processes. Delivers work, which directly impacts quality of team output to agreed timescales, service levels or similar metric.
**Accountabilities**
- Creates the load plan for trains to exportation.
- Creates the unload plan for trains of importation.
- Supervises directly activities of Salinas Victoria Staff, the crane operators, hostler operators and gate inspectors.
- Creates the correct logistic for cover the operation in the Terminal.
- Gives Security conversations with all the team.
- Keeps a correct operation in the Intermodal Terminal.
- Performs loads / unloads of Containers to the standards of the Terminal.
- Follows the instructions indicated by the Terminal Manager.
- Manages the logistics systems.
- Works with high safety standards.
- Has a vision of the trains that arrive vs depart of the facility.
- Improves the process for increase the level of service to the customers.
- Trains new team members on the job.
- Exemplifies KCS Vision, Values, and Culture interactions with coworkers, business partners, customers and stakeholders.
***Required**
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant operations experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Specialist knowledge of one or more disciplines of railroad operations
**Preferred**
- Basic Knowledge on systems of Logistics as MCS ans Oasis.
- Live near from work area.
- Management of unionized personnel.
