This position is also responsible for responding or directing personnel to manage service interruptions within the terminal due to power equipment failures, ensuring maintenances are achieved on time, managing special projects, personnel management, meeting objectives to support service to all power equipment, and ensuring all work is being performed within company guidelines, safety rules, OEM best practices, and AAR regulations.
Keeping inventories of parts feed, and asking the purchasing team for parts and services.
Executing the maintenance of the equipment with hands on it, leading his team, teaching and developing them to reach better knowledge and understanding of the equipment.AccountabilitiesActs as a team lead and coordinates the work of others, supervising the daily activities of his operations team members.Applies and enforces guidelines to ensure compliance and equitable application of policies, procedures, practices, programs, processes, and systems and makes suggestions for continued improvement or increased efficiencies.Plans and prioritizes work to meet team commitments.Provides timely and constructive coaching and feedback; develops staff and provides challenging opportunities.Ideal Candidate QualificationsRequiredEngineering in electromechanics, mechatronics or similar, technical career in electromechanics industrial maintenance diplomas or preparation of logic controllers (PLC).Knowledge of electric motors controlled by frequency converters through digital communication.Knowledge and mastery of medium and low-attention energy systems.Knowledge of 12 and 24 volt electronic systems for heavy off-road equipment (not truck mechanics).Knowledge of intermodal port machinery mechanics, equipment brands such as Liebherr Fuchs, Terex, Taylor, Konecanes, Linde Hyster Ferrari, Fantuzzi, Kalmar Therberg capacity of the intermodal turn, cargo handlers, and containers.Interpretation of electrohydraulic diagrams.Knowledge of Diesel engine repair Theoretical and practical for diagnosis.
