JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the sub process of materials logistics, supervising all Import/Export operations as well as vendor payments, ensuring timely execution. Approves and retains deviations from Traffic processes and authorizes freight bills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Validate that information in the maquila software and databases matches the Import/Export file documents and create incidental reports.Ensure timely processing of export downloads.Verify that all Import/Export operations are uploaded into the maquila software at 100%, along with traffic databases, and generate incidentals reports.Create action plans with corrective measures (who, what, and when) for issues outside parameters.Report anomalies in the maquila software to the NAFTAl Legal Custom Supervisor.Prove changes made to the maquila program related to Import/Export modules and payment to logistic services.Support the Import/Export area in potential deviations from Jabil procedures and effective customs law.Ensure the handling program for Import/Export files is at 100%, including original customs declarations and required documentation per Audit Law.Close traffic operations, including freights.Authorize logistic expense accounts in agreement with the Traffic Coordinator, reviewed and audited by the Account Payable Analyst.Ensure timely delivery of reports to Traffic Coordination: Freight In (Impo), On Time Delivery (Expo), Discrepancies (Impo), Incidences (Impo & Expo), PTA (Impo).Ensure timely information submission from Custom Brokers and Carriers to the Traffic team.Consolidate required information for INEGI, PP guides & CC.Conduct performance evaluations for employees on time.Ensure personnel certification as required.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company business goals, with the ability to devise and implement strategies to achieve targets.Strong financial and analytical ability; proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.Strong and convincing communication skills.Proficiency in personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and email skills required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's in Foreign Trade or similar.3 years in the Import/Export area in companies with Fomento PITEX/Maquila programs.Personal management experience.Management and administration of carriers, custom brokers, freight forwarders, naval companies, etc.Or a combination of education, experience, and/or training.
