Job DescriptionAs a Supervisor II, Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the activities of a skilled team of mechanics, installers, and repairers in providing top-notch maintenance services.
Coordinate work schedules, provide guidance, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
You will use your strong background in maintenance supervision and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, including scheduling, assigning work, and monitoring progress.Ensure adherence to established safety procedures and guidelines.Provide guidance and training to team members to ensure high-quality workmanship.Evaluate team performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.Act as the point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns, providing professional and timely solutions.Monitor inventory and order materials, tools, and equipment as needed.Keep detailed records of maintenance performed and costs.Perform hands-on maintenance work as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks.Coordinate with other departments as necessary to address facility requirements.Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.Work ExperienceFunctions as a working supervisor of a business support team.May spend a portion of time performing the work supervised.Responsible for the results of the team.Works within established precedents and practices.Analyzes information to solve ongoing problems.Has 5 or more years of work experience.EducationHigh School Degree or equivalent is preferred.Combination of education and experience will be considered.CertificationsCertifications may be required or preferred.
