Your tasks:
Plan and organize press capacity (staff and equipment) to meet customer needs and organize change staging.Monitor and control press department key performance indicators, quality, OEE, cleanliness, etc., according to company requirements and report to OEE management/Uptime improvements/downtime tools/according to Brose ground rules (BBR 2.0).Respond to all tool downtime improvement strategies and root cause analysis and react to critical downtime emergencies with respect to tooling, part profile, scheduling, quality, and liaison with other internal departments as required.Ensure minimal disruption to customer deliveries.Contribute and support the introduction of all engineering, process, tooling, or press equipment changes.Lead press store on all 5S activities including FIFO for rails and steel coils.Coordinate prototype activities including vendor quotes for tooling modification.Support and participate in continuous improvement activities including preventive maintenance of tooling to optimize equipment and processes.Provide and develop operator training - to include: tool setups, part profile adjustment.Build effective teams, develop motivation and commitment and maintain morale.Your Profile:
