.Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Supervisor de Producción.What you'll do:Lead, facilitate, and coordinate production activities and resources management according to established practices and policies within their job area to ensure the timely delivery of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations. Promote the continuous improvement process and a safety culture.A. Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and application of rules. Identify, control, and administer risk and danger in own area.B. Prepare report daily production status.C. Coordinate, leverage, and utilize appropriately resources to resolve manufacturing problems, improve processes, and meet external and internal customer demands.D. Provide and implement training that will enable personnel to better perform.E. Coordinate and administer employees: attendance, punctuality, overtime, vacations, and permissions.F. Act as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring, and assessing continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate Eaton Business Systems (EBS) processes and problem-solving tools such as ELS (Eaton Lean System) and 5s.G. Maintain and report accurate inventory numbers while continually seeking ways to reduce work in progress (WIP) inventory levels and maximizing product flow while identifying and implementing cost-out opportunities.H. Participate in setting, communicating, and achieving department goals and develop and maintain performance metrics as required to monitor results and use those results as a tool to identify and initiate process improvements within own work area. Coordinate and/or participate in continuous improvement teams in own or other areas to enhance plant results.I. Supervise the identification of material non-conforming of their staff, at least once at shift.J. Coordinate with Human Resources in the selection, promotion, counseling, and termination of employees using Eaton guidelines and policies.K. Monitor machinery, equipment, and facility and initiate maintenance work orders as required, to ensure safe working conditions, efficiency, and effectiveness.L. Promote the company's vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.M. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote engagement & participation to achieve results (Hi5 & Turnover, etc).Qualifications:Engineering degree or related fields required.2-3 years experience desired in a related manufacturing or engineering environment
