Responsible for the day-to-day execution of department objectives. Involved with the assessment of goals/objectives and the creation of solutions. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Responsible for defining job responsibilities and delegating assignment to subordinates. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Identifies problems and updates or modifies working methods in own scope. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the team. Typically reports to Manager or Senior Manager.The Electrical/Electronics Engineer ing Supervisor supports 1p-UPS business. The Electrical/Electronics Engineering supervisor interacts with and supports Global engineering and product teams, supports Supply Chain, material managers and Quality teams and work on VOS and standardization.**Responsibilities**:- Manage a small team (~5) of Electrical/Electronics engineers- Designs electronics Hardware and low voltage electrical enclosures (> 240 volts AC).- Develop team experience on PCB/PWA design tools.- Lead detailed Design reviews and have responsibility for output to management- Creating and maintain components in the PCB/PWA design tools.- Working with contract resources and/or manufacturers for prototype/production board builds- Collaborates with The Engineering Manager other group supervisors, including Mech Engineers, firmware & software, system test, customer support, and manufacturing to achieve project goals and support problem resolution activities.**Education & Certifications**:- Bachelor's degree, Electrical Engineering or related degree**Requirements**:- 7 years of experience in a hardware development role.- 7 years of experience using Product Life cycle management or Product documentation management tools.- Fluency in English.- Proficiency in writing functional requirements and documenting designs.- Experience with Expedition, Altium or other schematic /PCB capture tools.- Experience with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other debug tools.- Ability to execute on schedules for hardware board development lifecycles.- Experience in design for testability and manufacturability.- Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary.- Effective team member, consistent positive attitude, creativity.- 5 - 7 Years Experience
