PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIESProvide performance evaluations, merit planning, safety training, development planning, and career framework evaluations for all direct reports.Coordinate the development, review, approval, and upkeep of all processes and procedures in their technical disciplines.Perform technical aptitude reviews for all associates in their organization, while maintaining and assuring the applicability of a training matrix.Responsible for Environmental Health and Safety compliance for their organization.Must be budget aware and able to evaluate costs to mitigate overspending and ensure best-cost operation of their assigned groups.Interview and hire new associates.Train new associates on how to follow work instructions, processes, and procedures.Ensure that TS/ISO quality requirements are met.Effectively communicate with direct and indirect management.Effectively communicate with customers.Ensure that company objectives, values, and policies are met.Ensure that customer objectives are met.Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of automotive engineering, design engineering, or product development.Preferred: 5+ years experience in a testing laboratory.Expert level English is required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
