Payroll SupervisorResponsible for supervising payroll representatives assigned as part of HBP LATAM scope, ensuring that all processes are executed appropriately and in a timely manner. Operates as the subject matter expert and escalation point to resolve issues and continuously looks for improvements in operational and technology processes, designing and implementing those initiatives. Optimizes the contribution of the team through coaching, counseling, and implementing workable solutions to business issues/problems with minimum referral to management. Conducts work planning, estimation, and prioritization to optimize team performance and define standards and reusable approaches for payroll operations. Manages effective internal/external client relationships within own area of responsibility and builds client relationships in the wider group or unit.Major Duties/Responsibilities:Communicate and align with relevant stakeholders on the payroll payment process based on the established procedure.Attend internal and external audit inquiries.Supervise and ensure timely and accurate execution of the following processes:Payment transactionsPayroll accountingPayroll stampingSolutions to internal and external inquiriesReview and recommend improvements to existing payroll procedures, analyze payroll problems, and provide appropriate resolutions (15%).Develop best practices to improve efficiency of payroll processes and technology, and implement quality control measures (10%).Ensure team members acquire necessary skills and performance attributes in line with business and personal development needs (10%).Assist in audit operations and implement audit recommendations (5%).Dimensions: Describe the scope of the position in terms of appropriate measures (personnel supervised, budgets, assets, sales, units processed, calls handled, etc.).Dimension:Payroll employees administration: 3K employees per yearPersonnel supervised: 2 employeesPayroll payments processed: ~100K per yearLevel of engagement: Internal HRBP, HR Master data, Accounting supervisor, IS representatives.Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Minimum of 2 years of payroll supervising experience.Experience in payroll processing under Mexico's law.Knowledge/ability to work with SAP HCM or another payroll processing system.Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Tools and Capabilities.Experience in budget development and management.Experience in a shared service environment and solid understanding of HR cycles.HR experience, preferably in an operations environment.Ability to effectively supervise team members and organize work activities for other members.Strong communication & interpersonal skills in Spanish and English (both written & verbal) and ability to work as a collaborative team member.Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:Education: BS in Accounting, Business Administration, equivalent major, or equivalent experience.Experience: 2 years of experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
