Supervisor Plant Engineering - MaintenanceWork Mode: OnsiteLocation: San Luis de la Paz, Gto.OpportunityBASIC FUNCTIONThis position will be responsible for all objectives as established by the Capital Project Eng and Maint Manager to maintain plant equipment and installations in good working order, operate a TPM system including preventative maintenance, execute projects and support manufacturing improvement through KOS and support a safe work environment.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESProvide leadership and direction for all individuals in the Engineering department.Responsible for directing those individuals in maintaining all facilities and equipment.Monitor and maintain a TPM system including equipment preventative maintenance programs.Maintenance and operation of all Air Compressors, Boilers and their pipelines.Maintenance and operation of water treatment plants (ROW, PW, WW, GW).Maintenance of all railroads, HVAC equipment and generators.Create and execute projects to maintain equipment and facilities, elaborating the project case with proposal, benefits, risks and budget.Monitor annual expense budgets for the department and assist in the development of annual capital plans.Partner with production department on new equipment installations, planning plant shutdown periods to perform equipment overhauls and working with outside contractors on equipment repairs.Support KOS efforts to improve plant efficiency.Review training and efficiency of department personnel and establish developmental objectives.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree with a technical major and a minimum of 5 years Facilities Maintenance and Projects experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with TPM practices. Effective written and oral communications skills required, along with the ability to prioritize and schedule work in order to maintain production and maintenance deadlines.
