Resumen de Posición:
Ensure that the Machining, Welding, Balancing and Hydro Test processes run according to schedule to achieve OTP of 90%
Follow Production Plan in order to meet production goals
Make sure all personnel records their productive time in the ERP System (EPICOR)
Keep track of Utilization and Efficiency and make improvements
Keep ALL employees safe and stop unsafe activities
Responsabilidades Esenciales:
- Keep the Machining Process According to Schedule
- Monitor the production processes and keep daily records of all the components being machined in the area
- Keep a daily updated status of every component being machined /Welded /Tested and send the report to production manager at the end of every shift
- Liaise with different departments and teams, e.g. suppliers, managers
- Ensure machined / Welded / Hydro / Balanced components are completed on time
- Ensure all shop records are kept and archived
- Guide the team of machining operators and shop floor personnel as needed
- Coordinate with warehouse the issuing of materials to production in advance
- Review of drawings in advance in order to spot any special tool / device / fixture needed
- Understand how machining process works, be able to write CNC programs and be able to calculate machining times
- Understand Welding procedures / Qualifications and be able to solve problems regarding welding using SMAW and GMAW processes
- Be able to select machining inserts according to material / surface finish
- Be able to make and understand technical drawings in order to fabricate fixtures / tools / etc.
- Generate 0 NCRs
- Keep a 6S and lean Culture
Requisitos del Puesto:
**EDUCATION**:
- Mechanical engineering
- Manufacturing engineering
- Process engineering
- Industrial Engineering or similar
**CREDENTIALS OR CERTIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar is a must
- Master's Degree (Optional)
**EXPERIENCE**:
- 2 years as Machining Supervisor / CNC Programmer Job
- Pump manufacturing background desirable
