The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs. Enter Responsibilities/Essential Duties - Assume responsibility for the ensuring finished goods inventory is kept to a minimum, and no finished product is held in the FG location for excessive periods, this should include any returns from the field. - Attend the daily production/materials/quality overview meeting, Agree initial disposition for any materials/parts with the representatives of the Production/Engineering/Quality and Material functions who attend this meeting. - Be familiar with the clinical use of Haemonetics products and should instill in his/her employees, the importance of supplying products that meet the customers' needs. The supervisor must also understand the technical aspects of the process. - Control expenses to meet department budgets, as appropriate. - Coordinate overtime as needed to support the production schedule - Cover other areas of the plant as needed, or assume any or all of the responsibilities of the group leaders - Develop key metrics for the warehouse operation, encompassing materials receipt, distribution, handling and packing operations. Make sure metrics reflect both the corporate goals and the needs of the internal customer (to be agreed/ defined collaboratively). Follow the SMART principles of setting goals/objectives. - Ensure accurate and timely material receipt and concluding transactions for FG - Ensure compliance to the QMS, ensure adherence to SOP, cGMP, GDP and related regulatory controls. - Ensure employee (and visitor) safety at all times. - Ensure excellent housekeeping standards are maintained within the warehouse at all times - follow 5S principles/approach. - Ensure loads are complete & ready for dispatch to sterilizer without delay to production plan. - Ensure NDTS materials are segregated as required, and inbound inspection samples provided, also that all materials are correctly identified at all times, i.E. quarantine parts etc. - Ensure shortages are highlighted and driven to conclusion with the production and materials teams. - Ensure that materials are available and loads are complete & ready for dispatch to sterilizer without delay to ensure timely load release. - Ensure the team is fully trained/ aware of EHS requirements relating to working practices within the warehouse. - Establish and maintain solid interdepartmental communications in Scotland and all other Haemonetics facilities and locations as required, and enlist the support of these groups as necessary to be successful in meeting objectives
