Supervisor Warehouse IEmpresa: Extruded CansSan Luis Potosi, MX, 78395Primary purpose of the position:This position oversees all warehouse operations supporting manufacturing, providing leadership and direction in the implementation of the warehouse operations and inventory management, aiming to the highest levels of customer service and efficiency.Also responsible for policies and best practices implementation, to ensure a safe and secure environment in the warehouse area.Other relevant responsibilities will include preparing schedules for the warehouse associates, as well as training new employees equipment and forklift operation in compliance with safety standards of the warehouse area. This individual will be a leading example of self-development to those around, being present on the floor encouraging, energizing and inspiring the team, developing team members on building capabilities to execute their duties and achieve high level results to support the overall company strategy.Essential Responsible Areas:Leadership, development, and management of staff/forklift drivers in the warehouse operationReception, storage, and organization of materials in the warehouse, as well as the timely and accurate issuance of production materials to the production lines.Managing shipping and receiving operations.Develop processes for an effective warehouse operations.Proper handling, storage of materials in accordance with quality and local standards.Daily cycle count activities, record keeping, investigation and reconciliation of variancesAdequate operation of materials throughout the site including managing external warehouses.Proper implementation of warehouse safety operational policies and procedures regarding materials, equipment, staff, and company assets assigned to the warehouse.Plan and implement improvement projects in the warehouse through proper follow up and execution.Professional & Education QualificationEngineering or other Technical degree.8 - 10 years warehouse management experience, 5 years managing teamsSkills & KnowledgeProficient in warehouse management, inventory, facilities lay out.Knowledge of ERP system, Microsoft Office and Barcode scanning inventory management.Proven track of experience in inventory control techniques such as inventory on hand and cycle counting.Experience working with expansion projects (preferably).Outstanding communication, leadership, organizational, people and problem-solving skillsDeadline and detail-orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsLanguagesEssential: Spanish and EnglishDesirable: other language is an advantangeOther RequirementsOffice hours is as per employment contract.Must be prepared to work additional hours as required to meet ad hoc demands of the job.#J-18808-Ljbffr
