TE Connectivity's Supplier Development Teams find and develop suppliers to support the strategic sourcing organization in driving incremental performance in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They teach new suppliers on how to work with TE (portal access, e-procurement tool usage, TE procedures, etc.). They extend TE Operational Advantage into the supply base to generate continuous improvement in the extended value stream, deliver incremental improvements through supplier development lead projects and achieve improvement targets specific for supplier development. They also help drive selection and development of the best total cost supply option in the region where the commodity or service is consumed. They keep abreast of emerging market options and inform the broader procurement organization of trends and new supply options.**About the role**:**Main Responsabilities**:- Support the ICT procurement team in the identification of suitable and quality capable suppliers with a focus on TE Connectivity products / PDU products.- Perform VDA 6.3 potential analysis / process audits at TE suppliers- Identify gaps at the suppliers, and develop and execute trainings- Perform process and system audit of suppliers and maintain a working knowledge of ISO9001, and IATF quality systems requirements to support the suppliers.- One voice to the supplier for technical issues supporting TE Connectivity Industrial Commercial Transportation business.- Review and monitor quality data within the operating systems to ensure that the KPI of the suppliers are meeting their goals- Communicate quality concerns to suppliers (initiate TECHS complaint), SQ environment and plant- Initiate, track, review and close supplier 8Ds- Evaluate and release sustaining PPAP's from suppliers- Discuss and align Quality Assurance agreements / contracts with suppliers**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
