As SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, you will lead projects that ensure the profitability of the region, through strategic Supplier Development activities and key projects in coordination with the regional purchasing, technical and Quality teams maintaining continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead key strategic projects acting as integrator between areas, high impact projects, key RM localizations, toller development etc.
this position will be the link to efficiency integrate Procurement area with business and functional areas.
- Collaborate with procurement area developing the Supplier Risk Assessments and support the single/ sole sourcing strategies to minimize the business unit's exposure developing new and efficiency sourcing alternatives.
- Standardize internal Supplier Development processes in LATAM to optimize cost and quality through continuous improvement.
- Work with the Global Supplier Development Group to build successful and effective Supplier Development strategies.
- Coordinate activities to develop suppliers and promote the exchange of methodologies for optimal regional processes.
- Lead, standardize and maintain annual/periodic performance evaluation in LATAM of or our suppliers of raw materials, finished purchased products and packaging on quality, delivery and cost to ensure business success and establish performance management strategies to drive continuous improvement across the region
- Leverage the regional footprint to develop an efficient regional supplier audit plan based on key suppliers performance and business strategic needs through region.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor or master's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering or equivalent
- Experience validated expertise on supplier development activities on automotive industry (desirable) in quality/ purchasing areas.
- Advanced English.
- Technical knowledge: Norm ISO/TS16949, internal auditor Certification (desirable), Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, SPC, FMEA, 8D).
