As part of the Building Solutions North America Procurement team, you will be responsible for defining and managing the Supplier Onboarding process and team.Effective supplier engagement ensures that suppliers meet our organization's requirements and standards. This role will work closely with other teams (legal, category procurement, regulatory, field) to ensure that the onboarding and enablement process is seamless and efficient.**How you will do it**- Coordination with key stakeholders and procurement leadership to define a single process for onboarding of suppliers with primary focus on sub-contractors across the business unit.- Work closely with the Procurement category team in order to align objectives, balance resources and achieve deliverables for effective Supplier Onboarding.- Develops and maintains an understanding of overall business sub-contractor objectives.- Communicate with suppliers throughout the onboarding process to ensure they are aware of our organizations requirements and expectations including providing key training of interdependent systems used for onboarding process.- Conduct due diligence checks on potential suppliers to verify the compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company requirements and standards.- Management of team responsible for onboarding new suppliers in accordance with company policy.- Assists with documentation of new and revised departmental procedures.- Support selection and deployment of technology to enable onboarding process as well as recommend tools and techniques to further streamline current role tasks and processes.- Support accurate and timely reporting of KPIs including identifying how team's actions can impact the broader business goals including compliance and performance.- Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding process to ensure that it remains efficient and effective. Implementation and continuous improvement of standardization activities.What we look for**Required**- **5 years' experience in procurement including vendor management.**:- Ability to gather, relate and summarize information into logical conclusions.- Strong knowledge of supplier (ideally sub-contractor) onboarding processes, procedures and best practices.- Excellent interpersonal skills required to interact with internal customers and suppliers.- Highly motivated individual capable of handling multiple responsibilities.- Demonstrated leadership, organization, planning, administration and team playing skills.- Requires advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to use business systems software
