Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Analyst.
**What you'll do**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
Review response and implemented improvements after a quality issue on components was reported to external or internal supplier. Ask for evidence of preventive / Corrective actions implemented by suppliers.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:
A. Problem solving based in 8D
B. Production line support
C. Communicate quality issues to suppliers and sister plants
D. Review supplier response to DMR in Wisper system
E. Ask for disposition of non-conforming material to supplier after concluded sorting
F. Prepare reports on parts
- supplier performance. Update on time the quality metrics
H. Responsible for Safe Launch process / Inspection Plan on components.
I. Coordinate the work with the Quality Leaders working in the area.
K. Promotes the company's vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.
L. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.

**Qualifications**:
**SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE.**
A. Engineering Level or related fields required.
B. 2 years of experience in the area.
C. English: Intermediate - Advanced
D. PC use and office software knowledge
E. IATF 16949:2016, EQMS
F. Problem solving methodology (8Ds)
G. MSA, PPAP, Control Plan, AMEF and SPC
H. All areas of inspection such as techniques, principles, procedures and know how.
I. GD & T Intermediate
**QUALITY FUNTIONAL COMPETENCES**
A. Analytical / Statistical Tools & Methods. Knows the basic concepts of problem solving and analytical / statistical techniques, including 8D; Six Sigma; problem definition; basic data collection.
Has the ability to perform basic analysis and reporting of inspection and test records.
C. External Requirements. Has a basic knowledge and understanding of National and International Standards (e.g. ISO / AS / TS) and where applicable other Industry related standards including specific customer requirements.
