Supplier Quality Assurance

**Job Description**:- Management of supplier claims process, including timely organization of containment actions to ensure availability of certified parts.- Follow-up of defect cost process and concessions management as per process.- Support on PPAP process and on supplier Quality improvement programs- Working with multidisciplinary teams- Quality Audits with suppliers & customers as leader, participant or representative (internal and externals).- Support with CIP projects- Follow Compliance and applicable automotive requirements and standards- Problem Solving- PBI developments and update (scrap, costs, etc) and Task Force leading.- Set up/ tracking local KPIs**Qualifications**:- Able to work under pressure- Fluent in English- Proficient knowledge in problem solving methods (8D, Ishikawa, 5 whys, ProSo, Shainin, KT, 6 sigma or equivalent)- Core tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA)- Mechanical components (drawings, tolerances, measurement methods, manufacturing process)- Intermediate knowledge in Quality standards (ISO9000, ISO/TS16.949, VDA6- Basic Knowledge on customer requirements- Geometric Tolerances GD&T- Rigorous- Teamwork- Organized and structured- Analytical thinking- Communication and negotiation skills- Very Independent and self-motivatedAdditional Information- Required flexibility for traveling to suppliers- Graduated on Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar- Automotive industry, quality, purchased parts- Physically located majority of time at Guanajuato location, but weekly & frequent trips to Queretaro, Toluca or Hidalgo.
