The Supplier Quality & DevelopmentOrganization is responsible for securing the best performing supply base inquality, reliability, and safety. In this role you will be directly supportingthe Gas Services Global Customer Operations business by coordinating andimplementing supplier monitoring and supplier development activities.
**HowYou'll Make an Impact**
- Coordinate inspection planning and execution forinternational suppliers.
- Monitor and ensure effectiveness of overallsupplier quality inspection program.
- Coordinate nonconformance processing programand ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
- Create Quality Assurance Agreements with keysuppliers. Ensure implementation and effectiveness.
- Monitor supplier Key Performance Indicators andadjust quality, inspection, and development planning activities accordingly.
- Facilitate recurring supplier qualification &development status meetings. Ensure qualifications are on track and potentialsrisks are identified.
- Manage various Supplier Quality &Development tools and databases. Ensure data quality and transparency.
**What You Bring***
- Bachelor or master's degree in mechanical,electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar discipline. Equivalentcombination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- At least 2 years preferred professionalexperience in supplier quality management or quality management.
- Technical experience / familiarity in powerplant auxiliaries are a plus
- Experience in quality planning and controlling.
- Strong expertise in systemic and consistentmanagement of nonconformances and root cause analysis
- Experience in working with virtualcross-functional teams in an international environment.
- You are a self-starter, determined andself-reliant; your organization, strategic, analytical, leadership skills andintercultural expertise round up your profile.
- You are extremely fluent(writing and speaking) in English and Spanish
- Willingness to travel domestically andinternationally up to 15% of the time. Must have or be able to obtain apassport. Must have or be able to attain US work visa.
- Responsibility to comply and / or enforce theprotocols, policies, guidelines, and competencies of the current integralmanagement system (EHS, Quality).
