Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

Dampers and their components are our Product Line. We provide service to internal and external clients. We are looking to hire a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer for our location in El Salto. Responsibilities: Manage supplier quality performance, components validation, and supplier claims following corrective actions (8D reports) to protect ZF production line and final customers. Manage suppliers' components PPAP cover sheets. Supplier claim management using 8D methodology. Evaluate quality performance of suppliers. Manage SAP for quality inspection views for component reception. Coordinate supplier meetings to analyze reported component issues. Interface with the logistics team to block rejected material in SAP. Coordinate sorting activities related to supplier component issues. Apply chargebacks to suppliers responsible for quality issues. Conduct components warranty analysis required from suppliers. Update Quality Management System forms and directives. Your Profile as SQA: Experience in supplier management. Problem-solving skills (8D methodology). ISO TS 16949 knowledge. APQP methodology experience. PPAP methodology knowledge. Ability to read GD&T. Familiarity with core tools. Experience in fixtures/gauges design and manufacture. Moderate-to-advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; willing to learn company & customer systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills; English proficiency. Five (5) years of work experience in the automotive or similar industry. Three (3) years of work experience in one or more of the following areas: Quality Engineering, project management, process development.
