**Supplier Quality & Development Coordinator**:

In this position, you will establish and maintain a quality culture in ELDS, San Luis Potosí factory, controlling quality with systems, tools, and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. Deploy and lead the Supplier Quality strategy for a local ABB organizational unit, including ensuring suppliers continue to meet quality standards and continue. Drive the local supplier quality aspects through supplier assessment, development, monitoring of performance, quick response to issues, escalations when needed, sustainable solution to problems, and appropriate risk management.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Deploys and leads strategy, objectives, and targets for Supplier Quality Management in line with the Quality Management System, Quality Policy and Procurement strategy.
- Drives the vision for zero-defects at suppliers and establishes mechanisms to ensure that requirements from ABB, customers and stakeholders can be fulfilled, focusing on prevention rather than only control.
- Ensures that suppliers continue to meet quality standards required to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction and continue to improve on defect prevention, process capability and waste reduction, whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.
- Ensures the supplier qualification process is fully understood and utilized and ensures the relevant suppliers are and remain fully qualified and compliant.
- Leads the planning and execution of supplier assessments, driving both corrective and preventive actions as applicable, based on supplier maturity and performance.
- Applies defined escalation paths in case of supplier underperformance incl. deviation from agreed performance or standards.
- Monitors and reports supplier performance KPIs, quality issues and development actions.
- Supports, in close collaboration with Procurement at the early state of product development the supplier selection process.
**Your background**:
- ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, internal Auditor Certified (Lead auditor is a plus).
- Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering from and accredited university or college.
- +3 years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing leadership roles.
- Availability to travel 50% of time.
- Advanced English.
- Corrective action analysis and containment experience, and acknowledge for Norms in labor, environmental and safety.
