**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a Supplier Quality and Development Engineer, who will be responsible on the Supply Chain in terms of the quality performance towards our processing factory.
This position is permanent and is based in Cuautitlan Izcalli, Estado de Mexico, but you will work in a global arena. You will travel around 40% of your time.
Tetra Pak does not sponsor work visa or relocation for this position.
**What you will do**:
In this role you will drive supplier continuous improvement activities, audits and assure quality level of our suppliers through quality control procedures. You will work on improving supplier accuracy and balancing supplier capabilities. You will also monitor quality of specifications to our suppliers, securing Tetra Pak design in our supply chain.
You will focus on:
- Assure quality performance level of the suppliers
- Secure parts delivery quality following Tetra Pak Parts Validation process
- Supply Chain Quality Control maintenance
- Prevent and eradicate Supplier failures
- Coordinate efficient engineering changes across Tetra Pak supply chain
- Conduct and drive supplier audits and improvements
**We believe you have**:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, industrial or process engineering, welding specialist or related field.
- You have at least 3 years' experience on supplier quality and/or development in manufacturing industry or similar experience on process engineering
- Experience in quality systems, parts validation following APQP process and continuous improvement programs as WCM (World Class Manufacturing) and Six Sigma.
- Preferably, you have previous experience from a large multinational company.
- You are an advanced user of MS Office 365 collaboration tools, Power BI, SAP environment and normal quality control tools.
- Your English skills are excellent, written as well as spoken.
- You have strong skills and efficient abilities on Problem Solving situations and challenges; you have solid capabilities in data analysis and deployment.
- We believe you have strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
- You also have the ability to work with Stakeholder Management in project/product engineering, supply management and logistic teams on a daily basis and able to influence supplier's top management.
- We expect solid collaboration abilities to work across boundaries globally, cross-culture and with business impact vision.
- To be proficient and successful in the role it is required independent and autonomous working attitude.
