Supplier Quality/Development Engineer Sr.

Requirements:

- BS. Electronic/Electrical Engineering w/ Automotive experience. Master Science desirable.
- At least 6 yrs experience Electronic/Electrical Supplier Quality positions (e-Mobility).
- English advanced.
- Problem Solving Techniques
- Knowledge of vehicle electronic/electrical (hardware and software systems), their architecture and integration on vehicles.
- Knowledge of high voltage vehicle safety standards.
- Engineering Tools (GD&T, DFMEA) Quality Systems (ISO 9001/IATF 16949), Core Tools (APQP, CP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC), VDA 6.3.
- Experience with Electrical harnesses manufacturing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and Drive New Product Launch Phase 3 Approval with Suppliers
- Close participation with supplier to guarantee correct PTC/WD classification and ranking.
- Lead & Drive to closure of Global Full G8Ds & D0/Pyxis for New Programs and Warranty.
- Generate PIN which result from Yard Campaigns/Warranty Quality Spills.
- Define, document, communicate potential supplier quality field issues into actions (TNBTO, Warranty, In transit).
- Seek / Support / Report Early Warning Call (EWC) issue.
- Coordinate conference calls with SQ / Plant / Supplier / Materials to assure robust containment actions - Clean Job for each Plants.
- On time submission of Supplier´s SREA/Deviations into the system.
- Follow up status on Control Change Board (CCB) process.
- Guidance on the AIATF-16949 & VDA 6.3 systems.
- Perform Supplier Quality Audits per VDA 6.3 & Drive to Class "A" Suppliers
