**General Description**
Interact with internal and external customers, plant engineers, R&D and suppliers to analyze quality concerns and follow up concern solution with parts suppliers by performing root cause analysis and validating countermeasures. Ensure timely implementation of engineering and process changes by validating supplier's parts and process. Work according to global standards to ensure supplier adequate implementation of ISO, IATF and ANPQP requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Current model supplier quality responsible.
- Analyze plant and warranty concerns to identify root cause.
- Notify suppliers about quality concerns.
- Ensure supplier implements effective containment actions, performs root cause analysis and implements corrective and preventive actions using 8D methodology.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and improvement plans focused on key index like PPMs, fast response, process capability, firewall, etc.
- Perform various types of supplier process and system audits.
- Ensure compliance to Nissan global standards and internal standards.
- Validate supplier engineering and process changes.
- Validate supplier fulfillment of ANPQP, ISO:9001 and IATF:16949 standards.
**Education**
- Industrial, mechatronic, electronic, electrical or mechanical engineering.
**Previous Work Experience**
- Desirable: 1 or 2 years at supplier quality engineering or quality related areas.
- Desirable: Experience in manufacturing technologies such as stamping, machining, welding, plastic injection or blow molding.
**Knowledge**
- 8D methodology.
- Understand manufacturing processes.
- Desirable: ANPQP Certification.
- Desirable: ISO:9001 and IATF:16949.
- Desirable: Core tools.
- Desirable: GD&T.
