In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.Reporting to the Quality Manager, you as a Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensure the quality of the suppliers in the delivery of raw materials, assemblies, and products purchased by the company and used for integration into the final product according to the established quality systems.About the job:- Implement inspection plans for incoming materials, including Certificate of Compliance request and maintenance of inspections records according to Incoming Inspection Procedures.- Management of suppliers with Quality Incidents, Customer Complaints related to supplier components and incidents related to supplier components in the Littelfuse process and request corrective actions until effective closure of issues.- Perform Containment and correct disposition (Supplier RMA, replacement or scrapped) of non-conforming materials including negotiation with supplier about such disposition. Maintain a controlled inventory of rejected materials in quarantine area.- Performs electronic transactions in SAP to place suspect material in hold and release material from hold, and other transactions.- Establishes and monitors quality indicators and product acceptance criteria.- Propose and implement improvement projects for incoming inspection area.- Participate in training, meetings and audits as assigned.- Fill the quality system records that correspond in their duties.- Knowing the quality policy and environmental policy.- Perform any other activity that merits his position or as assigned by immediate supervisor.About you:- University - Mechatronic Engineer, industrial engineer or similar- 2 to 5 years with experience as Supplier Quality Engineer, Incoming Inspection engineer, or experience managing suppliers.- Core Tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, Control plan) knowledge- English 90% (Conversational skills)- Knowledge in 8D and problem-solving process- Negotiation skills with the supplier- GD&T / Drawing reading knowledge- IATF 16949- VDA 6.3 (Desirable)- Six sigma green belt (Desirable)- Certified internal auditor or experience auditing processes (Desirable)- High level of SPC (Statistical process control) analysis
