We create Best in Class products by leveraging advanced analysis fabrics, extensive testing regimes, state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and cross-functional agility.Job Description:ProfileBS in Engineering with hands-on experience or technical career with more than 5 years hands-on process experience.In-depth knowledge and experience on CNC machining (lathes, grinders, machining centers, aluminum preferred), heat treatments and finishing processes (i.E., e-coating, painting, plating, etc).Strong analytical skills, knowledge and experience in process evaluation tools: PFMEA, DOE, statistical data analysis, risk analysis, flow layout and other related engineering tools.Ability to interpret part drawings (including knowledge of GD&T), understand tolerances and translate to process setup, offsets, parameters, etc.Ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot equipment required for commodity of expertise.Able to understand and communicate in English.Experience with ISO-9001, IATF16949, VDA 6.3, CQI process auditing.Self-starter, able to lead with minimal direction, motivated by building organizational capacity.ActivitiesDirect daily communications, both verbal and written (technical level), to ensure all groups are working toward the goal of timely project completion.Work with engineering team to recommend process changes to support cost reduction initiatives.Effectively investigate and identify potential metal vendors for casting, stamping, machining and motor laminations.Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems to support and validate Supplier Corrective Actions (SCAR) and root cause analysis (8D) related to process issues.Ability to make a determination on metal vendor capabilities as it applies to manufacturing Milwaukee Tool parts and to isolate any areas of concern with these vendors.Participates in design reviews with cross-functional teams to ensure that conformance to specifications, Design for inspection, reliability, and quality system objectives are met.Provide support in general activities required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
