If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Supplier Quality Engineer located in Tijuana.Reporting to the Supplier Quality Manager, the Supplier Quality Engineer's role involves:What a typical day looks like:Responsible for supplier development in a manufacturing or service process; works with suppliers tocontinuously improve performance, implement process controls and develop quality assurance plans.Supplier Selection: Select the suitable supplier with jointed-effort of sourcing on aspects of quality, capability, pricing, delivery, environment, society regulation, etc.
against customer requirements.Supplier Qualification: Implement the new supplier qualification through the process of capability matching, supplier risk assessment, supplier self-assessment, onsite qualification audit, qualification database management.Forms a good relationship with the purchasing engineer and the supplier system in order to maintain a strong support system and supplier relationships for the organization in which they work.Drives full assessment for effectiveness of supplier process control plans, measures and activities.Uses statistical techniques and professional independent judgment to analyze data for process improvement.Develops and leads execution of process validations and tests; analyzes resulting dataand documents results (protocols/reports).Leads supplier process capability studies.Participates in Material Review Board decisions on supplier provided parts and services.Participates in supplier Quality System Improvement Plans.Leads the Supplier Requests for Change process.Performs supplier Quality System audits.Experience in medical devices (desirable).The experience we're looking to add to our team:Advanced EnglishTypically requires a bachelor's degree.Performs corrective and preventive actions with suppliers.Performs analysis of non-conformances and supplier performance for key performance indicators.Performs dock-to-stock monitoring and part selection activities
