The product line alone serves as proof with advances in machine performance, equipment automation, fleet management, and John Deere's ongoing investment in emerging markets.Note: All candidates should have their tax situation certificate (Constancia de Siituación Fiscal) up to date with the salary regime to be eligible for the hiring process.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the configuration of PLCs and basic PLC AB programming.Collaborate with automation suppliers to develop and implement new solutions in Deere factories.Solve technical problems and generate conclusions and solutions from technical data under supervision.Execute action plans in ambiguous situations with guidance.Support the coordination of manufacturing and distribution functions for the planning and installation of new projects.Work collaboratively with different departments and functions within the organization.What Skills You Need1-2 years of experience in related roles such as Welding Engineer, Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, factory automation, or Controls Engineer.Basic knowledge of PLC configuration and PLC AB programming.Basic experience working with automation suppliers.Ability to independently solve problems and think critically under supervision.Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and collaborate with different teams.Background in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical, hydraulics, power systems, etc.).Basic knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance, and facilities.What Makes You Stand OutBasic technical knowledge of network architecture/topology.Basic experience in technical project/program management.Knowledge of engineering systems, tools, and databases
