.**Responsibilities**:- Monitor process capabilities at White-Rodgers' Suppliers and ensure all Technical Specifications and requirements are met.- Conduct Supplier audits based on different audit processes. ESAC, Process Audits, SCAR Audits.- Follow-up on PPAP's to be completed on time and adequately.- Supplier Corrective Actions on time and with actions to avoid recurrence.- Monitor New Product Pilot, Pre-Production, and Production Runs (NPD PPR's) at Contract Manufacturing facilities to ensure the Reliability of product prior to production.- Report to and liaison with Comfort Controls Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team in order to audit and support the optimization of manufacturing processes and test procedures- Summarize and evaluate test results to determine conformance to requirements.- Alert manager and consult with Product Engineers about questionable product performance.- Participate in Corrective Action Team(s) and assist in special projects.- Communicate inter-and intra-departmental with Quality, Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing and Procurement to support process and product improvement initiatives.- Write procedures, test reports, and maintain technical documentation.- Assist manager(s) in execution of long and short-range quality, test plan and reliability processes to meet objectives.- This Position will initially be located full-time at a White-Rodgers Contract Manufacturer.- Travel requirement is less than 25% of the time.**Basic Qualifications (Requirements)- A BS or BA in related technical or science field.- At least 3 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer in a similar industry- At least 3 years of experience as Manufacturing Engineering in a similar industry- Expert in use of 8D methodology and Problem-Solving techniques.- Expert in management of Supplier PPAP's- At least 3 years of Supplier auditing experience- Proficient in use of MS 365 Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.- Organizational skills which include meeting schedules and deadlines.- Bilingual.**The incumbent must be able to**:- Support all elements of the Comfort Controls quality program, understanding of New Products Development Process, and understand the elements of ISO9001.- Drive overall improvement in supplier processes.- Support the management of supplier relationships with manufacturers of parts/assemblies.- Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw verifiable conclusions.- Effectively communicate and present information to team, top management, customers, and suppliers.- Familiar with test equipment and automated test systems utilized to evaluate product performance- Drive Self-improvement through education, training, and experience.- Ability to travel and work together with customers and suppliers
