Supplier Quality Engineer (Temporary)

Descripción del empleoEnsure that quality requirements are met by the supply base of CT OESL at all stages of the product life cycle. Collaborate with Purchasing, Supplier Quality Management and Manufacturing plant to guarantee proper supply from OESL vendors and in compliance with automotive requirements.
Support production sites in maintaining a robust supply chain in terms of quality, stable processes, and deadlines. Participation in improvement programs of series suppliers and continuous advancement of the continuous improvement process of our suppliers.
RequisitosEngineering degree2 years of experience in the automotive industryProven experience in quality assurance or supplier management, with a strong preference for backgrounds in rubber, metal, and plastic components.Familiarity with specific qualifications or certifications such as ISO 9001 & IATF16949. VDA 6.3 is beneficial.SAP knowledge desirableExcellent problem-solving skills, 8D's.Outstanding communication skills in English.A willingness to travel within Mexico occasionally.Assets compliance with the quality requirement of the product purchased for manufacturing.Fulfillment of response on time from suppliers for complaints or feedback on time from customers.Risk analysis at suppliers.
