Job Description - Supplier Quality Manager (0093JA)Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to assume the role of Supplier Quality Manager for our MTS cluster of Global Supply Chain North America region. In this role, you will lead a team of 12 direct reports spread across our factory locations in the US and Mexico. The role is expected to improve our supplier quality resilience for all the factories in the cluster. The location is Monterrey, Mexico.What will you do?Lead the processes and team of Supplier Quality Engineering and the Schneider Supply Quality Management for MTS Cluster.Define targets and objectives for the team and contribute to the overall strategic development of Supplier Quality.Drive supplier performance management with effective use of Quality tools - PRB, Six Sigma.Build the best team to achieve together the performance objectives of the group. Coach the team to achieve ambitions, encourage quality tool certifications (SAM, Six Sigma, Project Management, PRB).Support the brand label suppliers that are within the Cluster.Deploy Supplier Quality best practices by incorporating Digital tools and technologies.Lead and coach Supplier improvement projects and PRB.Identify Supplier risk opportunities and put mitigation activities to mitigate risk in the supply chain.What qualifications will make you successful?Model Schneider Electric leadership values – Shape our Future, Free up Energy, Build the best team, achieve together and Use your judgement.Desired to have leadership experience managing a team of 5+ in a virtual setting.Automotive Quality experience is desired.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified, or Black Belt preferred.Strong knowledge of Supply chain processes, manufacturing processes, and problem-solving methodologies preferred.Purchasing functional knowledge, SSQM processes, financial knowledge.8+ years of engineering or equivalent experience, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing Experience, auditing experience, knowledge of ISO and TS audits, Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent.He or she will be held accountable for managerial duties including Staffing, Project Delegation, Performance Management, Work Planning, Task Delegation, and Salary Reviews for Exempt Salaried Employees.Bachelor's Degree in IE, ME, EE, Supply Chain or Logistics, Business Operations; master's degree preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
