For our location in Ramos (MEX) we are looking for an enthusiastic Supplier Value Expert (f/m/d) to carry out costing for purchased products, assemblies and tools. You will negotiate the results with colleagues from the purchasing department. Furthermore, you will handle escalations to the supplier, technical visits on site, monitor and prevent risks, and report to the Manager Supplier Value Management.ResponsibilitiesAs a Supplier Value Expert, you will contribute to the Purchasing Department and your responsibilities will be:Cost Analysis: Conduct comprehensive cost analyses for existing products and projects to identify optimization opportunities.Cost Estimations: Generate accurate cost estimates for new product developments, considering material costs, labor hours, processes, and other relevant factors.Supplier Management: Work with our global suppliers to identify cost-effective sourcing options, analyze risks and optimize the supply chain.Cost Transparency: Provide transparent cost information (should cost and crisis cost analysis) and report to management and project teams.Continuous Improvement: Initiate and monitor measures for continuous cost reduction, risk mitigation, and efficiency improvement.Risk Management: Identify potential cost and logistics risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation using the corporate system for risk assessment.Escalation to Suppliers: Act as the interface from the SRT Department in Europe when escalations are done in North America, conduct root cause analysis, and demand Corrective Action Plans from the suppliers and crisis prevention measures.
