Industrial Print Sales Operations is the backbone of the business activity, driving processes and tools to keep the sales motion meanwhile increasing our customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. Working collaboratively with the Sales Organization, Business Management, Service, and many other key stake holders, driving operational excellence and manage business continuity risks.
A team player with strong commitment to accomplish tasks and goals, deep understanding of change management and capable to work agile to deliver fast results. The OM SME may act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. This role exercises independent judgement within generally defined policies and practices to identify a solution, assist in driving the operational strategy for the assigned customers/partners and may participate in key contractual negotiations in support to the Sales Account.
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee list of supplies customers for Page Wide and other Large Format customers to resolve and route basic to complex issues; providing guidance while collaborating very closely with 3rd party suppliers.
- Act as a first point of contact for internal/external stakeholders escalations; coordinating support on a broad range of daily operational matters.
- Resolve high impact operational issues (e.g., issues related to global trade and compliance policies, issues with high dollar-value exposure).
- Coordinate with or leads other functions and organizations to resolve issues (e.g., sales teams, supply chain, logistics) as they relate to customer ordering to invoice delivery support.
- Subject to prepare and run operational performance reviews, as business may require, with internal account management and strategic customers, and support improvement plans.
- Champion a specialized topic (e.g., order management, special pricing) and trains other people as necessary.
- Spearhead efforts to optimize current processes, often collaborating with other groups within HP to improve day-to-day activities.
- Represent team as a Subject Matter Expert on complex internal processes to other functions and organizations.
**Education and Experience Required**
- First-level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
- Typically 2-6 years of related experience, preferably in sales operations, customer experience, finance, contract management or similar.
**Knowledge and Skills**
- Advanced communication skills with ability to convey high impact messages clearly (verbal, written and presentation) to peers and management within and outside of HP. Mastery in English and local language.
- Advanced understanding of highly complex internal operational issues (e.g., opportunities to improve current processes).
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Broad, in-depth knowledge of the end-to-end process of sales operations business unit.
- Solid knowledge of local legal compliance issues.
- Advanced teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Excellent management of MS Office tools and experience in creation of reports.
- Preferred knowledge in HP systems such as S4 (ordering features), OSS, Eclipse/PriceHub, HP2B Portal and Catalog.
