Job Description Summary Manages the Supply function for the country operations for the tactical horizon (3 to 24 months). Manages inventory to safeguard product availability on time to patients to ensure high service level in the country through S&OP and demand planning of the products in accordance with policies.
Leads the Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP).
Customer Service Level Tactical planner. Establishes optimal demand and supply planning for the tactical horizon from 3 to 24 months.Ensure high service levels in the country and balance inventories without compromising quality, legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.Proactively address risks and opportunities by analyzing trends and maintaining close contact with the local commercial team. Ensure mitigation actions are agreed upon, put in place, and followed through.Leads action plans to achieve supply performance target and drives for continuous improvement.Ensure a close and clear communication channel with all partners giving a clear visibility of the current valid supply plan and monitor the delivery commitments in terms of quantities and timelines.Leads the Sales & Operations Planning process working closely with the Forecasting Leader and Life Cycle Leader. Supports the identification and implementation of improvements.Inventory Management Ensure achievement of inventory targets by creating consolidated projections and anticipating deviations in a fast and action-oriented way. Generating and putting in place action plans as needed.Monitor through KPIs the appropriate order placement of finished, semi-finished, in bulk and/or imported products in agreement with the demand planning, accomplishing deadlines according to the established norms and procedures aligned with Supply Chain guidelines.Establishes effective action plans to better predict and control impacts of the internal and external factors in availability of the products in the Country.Ideal Background Education: University education in related subject. Preferably, with a logistics or business-related post qualification. CPIM / APICS / PMI certified.
Languages: English – fluent written and spoken.
Experience: Min. 3-5 years' experience (depending on size of CPO) in Supply Chain (preferably within Supply & Demand Planning), Operations Management and execution, Experiences within Pharma (Pharmaceutical Operations e.g. plant/manufacturing) and sound understanding of related local regulations.
