.BASIC FUNCTIONResponsible for analysis that drives short-term supply execution enabling achievement of target product availability for the various customer segments served by KBNA. The Supply Assurance Supply Chain Project Leader is a key member of the supply team, providing information that establishes priorities, secures status on supply actions and elevates issues when required. The role also serves as a point of contact for customer-facing roles when analysis of supply availability is required, including Supply Chain, Category and Sales Sr. Managers, Directors and Vice-Presidents.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESRespond to escalations and inquiries from Sales and Category commercial leaders regarding supply availability.Analyze and respond to customer service and supply chain alignment inquiries on supply availability, including:Requests for recovery dates on product with past due orders and/or extended lead timesRequests for product availability for business opportunitiesPublishing supply availability in tools that enable self-service supply availability checks by customer serviceTrack supply for key programs, initiatives and business opportunities.Prepare & publish supply availability summaries and analysis for key business segments, including critical customers, channels, NPD's, promotions and business opportunities.Support supply planners via demand analysis to help ensure the correct signal is driving supply planning.Analyze customer-facing supply chain performance, coordinate root cause identification and corrective action tracking.Publish performance reports where standard tools do not support.Coordinate root cause for gap to target of KPI's for supply planning.Track and drive completion of clearing and corrective actions.Identify and recommend opportunities for improving supply execution and customer delivery experience.Skills/RequirementsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS3+ years of experience in supply chain or related experience that brings knowledge of supply chain management.Position requires a B.A. or B.S. degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Systems or a related field.Curiosity for and ability to learn end-to-end supply chain processes and constraints so that we can assure ability to exceed customer experience expectations.Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Ability to interact efficiently and productively and engage with respect, aligned to Kohler's values. Professional oral and written communication skills are critical to success.Must be capable of working with different functional areas (across supply chain functions, operations, purchasing, logistics, finance, engineering).Strong analytical skills, including use of Excel and PowerBI.SAP skills or ability to quickly leverage SAP and other key business systems.Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
