.Tasks**Overview**:Required to manage projects and communicate complex issues to internal/external business partners of all levels, with high influencing and communication skills covering supply chain logistics and custom foreign trade activities.**Core Responsibilities**:In case of ramp-ups and technical changes receive customer, requests and align with other internal functional areas (e.G. OES); schedule dates for BoMs(bill of material), soft- and hardware releases together with project management and request keeping the deadlines; schedule call-off datesand quantities to ensure a successful ramp-up or SOP (start of production)Support of logistics projects which are clearly defined and timely limited; functional instruction of national and international project members according to the scope of the project.Monitor and minimize blocked and obsolete stocksInterface to other functional areas of Continental such as Finance, IT, Sales, Project Management etc.Ensures timely and compliant administration of customs foreign trade activities in which Mexican Automotive plants must be involved. Effectively advise, support and coordinate with plants to ensure timely and compliant filings, reporting with governmental entities and compliance with procedures/requirements related to customs foreign trade activities.Advise and support other areas of the plants to ensure full and timely compliance with procedures related to customs foreign trade.Perform all other position related duties, programs, and foreign trade certifications as assigned or requested by Management**Additional Responsibilities**:Analyze and classify goods on an exception basis. Coordinate classification updates to SAP system.Escalation contact for clearance delays supporting advising and coordinate gathering missing information and proper handling/clearance.Follow all applicable regional laws and regulationsEscalation of project timing delaysSupport on the transfer of phased out product to OES.Follow up returnable empty process.
