Supply Chain Analyst As a member of our team, you'll proactively call on both new and existing customers to uncover their business challenges, compliance concerns/issues, process inefficiencies, pain points, etc., and partner with them to determine win-win solutions. You will support the Integrated Business Planning and Demand Planning functions in areas of ERP system business support and improvement work, analysis, and metric reporting across the supply chain network, and supporting process improvement project work. You will create specifications, test system changes, and implement new business systems to improve the efficiency of the planning process and help integrate different processes & systems.
Academic/training requirements: Minimum academic training: Completed university, or training equivalent to a university baccalaureate or higher.Primary area of professional training: Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Supply Chain or related field.Secondary vocational training area: Procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, data analytics, and/or data management.Languages: Spanish & English B2/C1.Minimum 4 years of performance in a similar role.Specific knowledge required: Logistics and supply chain principles, practices, and regulations.Logistics software and tools, such as transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).Knowledge of export compliance, international trade regulations, export controls, and customs requirements.Ability to read and interpret contractual documentation.Ability to build data visualizations using software like Power BI, Tableau, Excel.Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and standards (e.g., best practices, policies) for one or more supplier industries.Ability to provide guidance to suppliers for cost improvements and to incorporate new technologies.Managing activities with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies (e.g. audits) and legal compliance (Master Supply Agreements, Price schedules, UISS letters, NDAs, Material Transfer, insurance certificates, etc.).Collaborates and communicates information to supply chain management of the plants, manages issue resolution, and may attend operational meetings.Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.Responsibilities/tasks to be executed according to the final role: Analyze and evaluate logistics data, including transportation costs, inventory levels, and order fulfillment metrics.Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.Conduct regular audits to ensure export compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.Identify and resolve logistics-related issues and bottlenecks in a timely manner.Use data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.Demand Forecasting.Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.Identify potential supply chain risks, such as disruptions in the supply of materials or geopolitical factors, and develop mitigation strategies.Collaboration scheme: Type of contract: Direct hiring.Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.Modality: This is a Hybrid position (2 days WFH, Office is located in San Pedro); to be eligible, candidates must be residing in Costa Rica.Financial compensation: Negotiable, according to final role.At QUID – INNTECI, we are always looking for professionals motivated by stability, constant learning, and above all, flexibility and communication.
