Job Overview TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals. What your background should look like:Materials and Supply Chain SAP Process Expert Responsibilities:Determining business needs via consultation, business analysis, and targeted observations.Assessing existing IT infrastructure and recommending improvements.Developing and configuring customized SAP solutions.Lead and coordinate Mater Data Activities with sitesSuggesting / Writing scripts and programs to create user-friendly interfaces and enhanced functionalities.Deploying SAP solutions and ensuring smooth system integration.Troubleshooting and resolving issues to optimize performance within SC.Providing SAP system support and end-user training when needed.Performing rigorous documentation of SAP processes and presenting progress reports.Ensuring compliance with industry regulations.Keeping abreast of the latest SAP updates, and developments.Looking forward to SC best practicesLead trainer across AMS SitesMaterials and Supply Chain SAP Process Expert Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar preferred.Specialization in finance, project management, business administration, or a related field will be advantageous.Strong Excel and database building/navigating skillsSAP/ERP skills and disciplines requiredAt least 2 years' experience as a SC SAP Expert in a similar industry.Current knowledge of SAP systems, deployment, and integration.Great collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to develop Standard Operating ProceduresCourses MRP/ERP, Warehousing, Inventory Management and designations such with Association for Supply Chain Management
