TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

**ACTIVITIES**:
- Provide oversite to individual source supply reviews and lead consolidated global supply review. Perform scenario planning and drive key decision making, considering lead times, cost, and resourcing. Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems.
- Identify and escalate constraints with materials (external and internal suppliers), labor, equipment, and quality/compliance. Work cross functionally to own and drive resolution.
- Provide glidepaths with actions and strategies to achieve targets.
- Drive inventory optimization projects to support inventory $ and Days-on-Hand committed improvements in balance with customer delivery performance excellence.
- Partner with peers in Sourcing, Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing regarding make vs buy, supplier performance, transportation, and capacity needs to drive sustained and long-term performance.
- Partner with near term S&OE team members to ensure realistic bridge and alignment with SIOP horizon planning.
- Lead supply planning representative in selection, deployment, and implementation of optimized planning software, including processes to support and improve SIOP constrained supply planning processes.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, Business or Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles
- Strong knowledge and experience of MRP/ERP Systems (SAP), ideally Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Extended knowledge of planning processes (MRP, MPS, SIOP).
- Experience with high mix/low volume demand and supply.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- APICS certification (desirable)
- Six Sigma and/or Lean Six Sigma certification (desirable)
