**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Directly or through team members, Supply Chain Director has the following responsibilities:
Review technology and industry trends for potential new materials and effective supply chain
Responsible for managing movement, tracking, warehousing and shipping of finished goods.
Ensure all Supply Chain processes are efficient and maintain cost performance measures.
Serve as both the strategic leader for all Supply Chain-related work in North America and help us improve as we grow.
Develop and run a strategic sourcing for direct, indirect materials and equipment, help in supporting NPI and mass production products sourcing needs
Work closely with engineering and manufacturing in forming a Supply Chain strategy that meets critical business and financial targets
Develop supplier relationships, review supply chain agreements and ensure best in class service
Oversee our planning, purchasing, and inventory workflows and staffing, working with our existing team leads on prioritization, staffing and hiring
Develop necessary benchmark platform, track supplier quality-related metrics, and establish KPIs to understand how our Supply Chain team is impacting our product development and business.
Strategically plan and manage operation planning of logistics operations, warehouse, transportation and inbound/outbound logistics
Manage and interact with suppliers of logistics, packaging, warehousing, and distribution as well as with internal Supply Chain to ensure that all relevant requirements of delivery, cost and quality are met.
Responsible fordirecting and planning all aspects of an organization's supply chain initiatives, policies, and objectives
Build necessary business infrastructures that make sure supply chain operations run smoothly
**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES**:
BS/MS or equivalent education/experience, MBA preferred
Minimum 10+ years in a Supply Chain leadership role within the manufacturing industry with a track record of establishing and maintaining a supply chain
Knowledge in OEM/ODM industry
Position requires traveling (frequent travel as required).
Good data and business systems instincts.
Demonstrated strengthening in team building and leadership.
Experience in a technical industry, such as consumer electronics, automotive, medical
Startup experience preferred.
