As well as continuously evaluate and improve the service and costs of Royal Canin's market distribution network.This will be accomplished though building and developing an effective team, network evaluation and modelling, systems integration, and process improvements.Will take into consideration the end-to-end supply chain, including inbound and outbound market logistics, when making decisions. The Supply Chain Director will effectively partner with key associates and functional areas at local, regional, and corporate levels, in addition to peers in other divisional Petcare businesses. Accomplishing goals and initiatives will be done through positive interaction with the Mexican management team, sales – marketing, and other key functional areas.Development of the ability of the team and associates will also allow for supporting our business growth.What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related studies. Strong English verbal and written communication skills. APICS (American Production & Inventory Control Society) certification – preferred. 5 years of demonstrated senior management experience leading a department through collaboration with critical suppliers and internal colleagues. 10 experience in related areas, such as supply chain, imports/exports and planning. Deep understanding of supply chain and its' impact on the company financials. Possesses an analytical understanding of the value and impact of information (managing and reporting data effectively). Proven experience leading and developing a high performing team. What will be your key responsibilities? Deliver Annual Business results Ensuring logistics performance to deliver annual business objectives (volume / earnings / cash). Accountable for logistics financial results. Owns the development of the logistics / planning strategy for the Mexican Market Owns logistics footprint development, regional route to market, logistics cost and service optimization. Ensuring logistics performance meets the requirements of SLAs in the Mexican markets and all customer types. Effectively manage each unique requirement. Ensures import process efficiency to always guarantee product availability. Manage and achieve targeted cost and service KPIs and objectives for the transportation, distribution, and order management functions. This will include contract negotiations, system technologies, process improvements, and organizational changes. Lead, analyze, and evaluate network models options that will support business growth initiatives and which take into account our end to end supply chain requirements. Includes all internal and external fulfillment options. Insure and improve the order to cash cycle through effective management of the Customer Call Center activities. Create standard operating procedures within our supply chain for departmental and distribution processes. These should lead to building customer loyalty through timely and accurate delivery of orders. Orchestrate and implement improvements to Business Operations (Do It Best) Provide strategic perspective on long term growth plans that supports Pillar growth with distribution solutions. Ensure LLC improvement. Leadership over the S&OP Process. Ensures Mars Safety guidelines are met in the warehouses that Royal Canin brands are present. Ensure compliance of procedures for Hygiene and Food Safety. Development of team and talent pipeline Engage, coach and inspire team with a visible leadership approach. Develop successor and drive discipline around development plans. Guide the day-to-day activities of the team and oversee the implementation of all strategies focuses on Do It Best. Represent Royal Canin Mexico in all logistic discussions with the North America Leadership team. Champion global or regional projects in which Mexico is required. Liaison with the plants to ensure the continuous flow of finished goods into Mexico's network. Partner with Operations Leaders on Quality and Safety agenda.
