As a part of the Supply Chain Finance team, you will support a variety of recurring processes, including monthly financial reporting and variance analysis, the monthly forecast, the annual operating plan, and monthly capital investment reviews. You will also help administer the Price Forecasting System (PFS) for direct material costs and will be responsible for calculating and forecasting direct material inflation and purchasing savings, as well as supporting special projects and ad hoc analyses. Why do we need you?
To update monthly and quarterly reports on consolidated supply chain results, manufacturing variances, indirect expenses, logistics, inventory, and capex. You will be required to build new reports and/or modify existing ones to meet constantly evolving business needs.
To report actual and forecast direct material inflation and purchasing savings for monthly Purchasing reviews and financial reporting needs.
To validate material price savings claimed by the Purchasing organization per established guidelines, ensuring benefits are realized in financial statements.
To administer the Price Forecasting System (PFS) for direct material costs, including reviewing data for completeness, assisting users with the maintenance of their data, and partnering with the IT organization on system enhancements to improve the accuracy of spend reporting and forecasting.
To partner with the Global Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) leader to build the annual operating plan for the EHS group, report on monthly results, including variance analysis, and update the monthly forecast.
To prepare month-end accruals for Freight costs. What skills will help you to succeed in this position?
Written and spoken fluency in English.
A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with financial planning and consolidation systems such as Hyperion (HFM/Essbase).
Preferred knowledge of SAP/ERP.
Relevant working experience in Finance or related fields.
