Join us.Supply Chain Head MexicoLiveWhat you will doKey responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Responsible for ensuring import/export process in compliance with local/current regulations.Lead Customs Broker activities to ensure high quality service and compliance from the third party.Search for opportunities to reduce import costs with focus on sea shipments, cargo consolidation and usage of bounded warehouse (EADI).Responsible for all Coordinated Business Planning (IBP) processes at the affiliate level and in support of LATAM region, including S&OP, Demand and Supply Planning, Materials Planning and Inventory Management; owns Finished Goods inventory in market and ensures adequate shelf-life and avoidance of inventory scrap due to demand variation.Support set-up of Amgen Global and Local Planning and Change Control Management systems.Work closely with Country and Regional Operations Lead(s) and Business Development area to support new products introduction and uninterrupted supply during life-cycle management events.Own/perform/ensure Change Control Management related to local readiness activities.Build strong network within Local, Regional and Global Supply Chain Teams.Responsible for Customer Service activities to ensure timely delivery to first economic customers – On Time In Full (OTIF).Ensures regional support for Customer Service related activities.Serve as CS & Logistics Subject Matter Authority during internal or external audits of our third party partners.Leads and serves as key Amgen interface to third party distribution partners (LSP, brokers, carriers and distributors) to meet Service Level Agreements.Responsible for GDP compliance of applicable distribution, transportation and trade regulations and third party distribution partners (i.E. LSP and carriers).Apply Operational Excellence and LEAN framework to drive continuous improvement in performance and cost reduction.Support commercial expansion strategy by applying the knowledge, skills, tools and techniques of project management and Operational Excellence.Develop high quality tools and templates to support effective operation of the department.Leverage industry partnerships and consortiums to identify and implement standard processes.Translate Regional Operations strategy into specific country objectives and action plans.Lead/participate in cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of project tasks and delivery of project objectives.Prioritize and lead S&OP and Demand Review meetings
