**What will you do?
**
Responsible for the supply chain function in an electronics/refrigeration/panels plants; oversee purchasing, scheduling, planning, inventory management, warehousing, materials systems development, and customer service; manage import, export, and logistics between the U.S. and Mexico; and responsible of Environment requirement relatives to Health & Safety (EHS).
Comply with the guidelines and regulations of Environmental Health & Safety.
**How will you do it?
**
- Responsible for procurement of MRO and raw material components, including electronic parts, molded parts, electromechanical, machined parts, and refrigeration components; create annual forecast for the universe of end products manufactured in plants in Mexico.
- Participate in negotiations of long-term contracts with tier one suppliers; implement the finished goods inventory plan to ensure that the goals of asset management are met; manage flow of material within company sister plants in Mexico.
- Implement internal kanban system; maintain the inventory in accordance with established company standards; coordinate work with sourcing, warehousing, and material planning personnel; evaluate, analyze and implement inventory and delivery performance plan; responsible for import/export processes and inbound /outbound systems, both in the U.S. and Mexico; ensure compliance with U.S. and Mexican customs laws and tariff classification; conduct cost analysis to select major carriers around the world.
- Implement cost savings procedures in tool crib; create and implement min-max system to assure indirect supplies/machine/fixtures spare parts are available; conduct product operations in Spanish language; work with suppliers in the U.S. and Mexico; communicate with Spanish speaking personnel and organizations weekly; supervise Spanish speaking personnel employed at the plants in the U.S. and Mexico.

- Define corrective and preventive actions.
- Control system logs in your area.
- Follow-up and review procedures and instructions OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001
- Intervene personally identify and correct unsafe acts and recognize safe behavior
- Identify and report potential environmental impacts
- Analyze and prevent the consequences of all actions before any activity
- Contribute to compliance ( as applicable) objectives and targets for safety, health and environment.
- Attend trainings to learn about Lean & Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies as required by function and/or position.
**What we look for?
**
- 4 years of experience in supply chain management or related occupation.
- Utilize experience with lean manufacturing
- IT/Demand pull manufacturing methods
- MRP and Replenish inventory control systems, including systems implementation
- Symex - Mat IT SAP - AS400
- Kanban implementation; inbound/outbound logistics management (Mexico/US)
- Education and experience requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Business Administration, Materials Control, Engineering or related field
- Advanced English
